In active and interactive learning process, Darma Yudha Senior High School made a visit to Post Office Pekanbaru, located on Jenderal Soedirman Street. The occasion took place on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 from 09.30 until 11.00 a.m.
The visit was attended by senior high school students from 2 classes; 10th social programme A and B with the total number of 60 students. They were all accompanied by a vibrant history and sociology teacher, Jimmy Frismandana Kudo. The purpose of the visit is to introduce the students about the importance of Post Office role in the context of history and sociology subjects.
During this visit, the students were warmly welcomed by the representatives of Post Office Pekanbaru, Rico, Dika and Hendra. They watched a video about the history of Indonesian Post Office. Thus, they could see directly the atmosphere of Post Office Pekanbaru in providing excellent services for the customers in Pekanbaru and Riau Province in general.
The students were also given the opportunity to ask anything about Post Office. Before the end of the event, a joint photo session was taken as a part of a memorable visit to Post Office Pekanbaru.
Jimmy Frismandana Kudo also conveyed, “Give thanks to Darma Yudha Senior High School and parents for facilitating us in the school visit to Post Office Indonesia, Pekanbaru. This will be once in a life time experience for each of them. Salam Pos Indonesia.” (APW)
