During the event of debate competition at the International Relations English Competition organized by International Relations of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta in the first week of September 2017, Darma Yudha Senior High School students succeeded in carving several achievements out. The students were intensively trained and guided by Mr Dwitya Nucifera or Mr Nunus.

This prestigious annual event was followed by best senior high schools coming from all around Java and outside Java regions. This year, there were 28 teams competing. After the preliminary round, 8 teams were only eligible going to the next round. Darma Yudha team consisting of Jocelyn Amelia (12 IPS C), Vivian Liawi (12 IPA A), and George (11 IPS C) managed to reach to the quarter-finals.

Surprisingly, Jocelyn Amelia was successfully awarded as the best speaker at this prestigious event, located in ‘Kota Gudeg’, Yogyakarta. The achievement of senior high school team and Jocelyn would be a boost for others to strive for achieving optimal and best results. (APW)
