The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the University of Riau (UNRI) held Kimia Chem XP started from 14 until 17 March 2018. The Chemistry Olympiad team of Darma Yudha took part by sending several students to participate. Those students were definitely under the guidance of Mr Heru as a senior high school chemistry teacher.
After 4 days of competition, Darma Yudha Senior High School was finally successful in achieving some awards. In written test, Jacinda Phowena won the 1st place and Angelica Wilona got the 2nd winner. While in quiz category, Audrey Valencia Putera, Jacinda Phowena, and Angelica Wilona got the 1st place, and Derrick Anthony, Celine and Yonchen Hariyanto were the 3rd winner.
Surprisingly, Jacinda Phowena was chosen as the representative from FMIPA UNRI in ICE IKAHIMKI (Association of Chemistry Students) national level in Medan, North Sumatra from 20 to 24 April 2018. This is achieved since her award as the champion in FMIPA UNRI 14 – 17 March 2018.
On the same occasion, Angelica Wilona is also awarded as the representative from FKIP UNRI in ICE IKAHIMKI (Association of Chemistry Students) national level in Medan, North Sumatra on 20-24 April 2018. This is well achieved since the award of winning champion in FKIP UNRI on 5-10 February 2018. Congratulations to the team, this is truly a great achievement, we’re proud of you. (APW)
