The University of Riau as one of the state universities in Riau Province held the 2018 Counseling Guidance Olympiad. This event was followed by students in Pekanbaru and surrounding areas. Darma Yudha School took part by sending the students both in junior and senior high school level.

This event was held in the third week of April 2018. From the junior level, the 1st winner in teacher style category was achieved by Cristella Prisel Chen from grade 8 B and the 3rd winner of educational campaign was achieved by Rosselyn Angel Simatupang (8 F), Diva (8 E), and Vivian Huang (8 C).

From senior high school level, the 1st winner in quiz was won by Lyora Felicya (10 science A), Gisella Darfian (10 science D), and Gloria Angelique (10 science D). The 1st winner of the written test was achieved by Revinna Pangestu from 11th grade social C, while the 2nd winner of written test was won by Kelsent Jusan from 11th grade social C. The 2nd winner of educational campaign was achieved by Jennifer Claudia (10 science D), Starla Natasha (10 science D) and Keisha Saffa (10 social B).

These various awards resulted the school and students in the overall champion of Counseling Guidance Olympiad 2018. Congratulations and stay humble guys.
