The Institute of Science and Technology (AKPRIND) Yogyakarta held the National Geological Olympiad (OGENAS) 2018 starting from 20 to 22 April 2018. This year, “Discover the Wonderful Geotourism in Indonesia” is the theme of OGENAS 2018. This event was attended by high school students coming from various regions in Indonesia.

Darma Yudha senior high school took part in this national scale competition by sending Britnee Mega Wijaya (10 science A), Lionie Annabella Wijaya (10 science B), and Ferdian Jordy (10 science F) as the representatives. The three of them were trained by Mr. Djoko who also acts as a physics teacher.

After three days of competition and a series of contest such as written test, demonstration test, field work, and OGENAS project, the team managed to get the 3rd place as well as bronze medal. Congratulations students.
