One of Darma Yudha Senior High School students from 12th grade social programme A, Alief Rasendria Jauhari succeeded to reach the first stage of semifinals in National and ASEAN Bintang Radio Competition 2017 held from 21st – 26th August 2017 in Ambon, Maluku, a province which is very well-known for its spices.

The participants consisted of 130 people, 65 males and 65 females who come from all over Indonesia. After going through a series of song competition, finally Alief has managed to reach the first semifinal.

The male participant who becomes the first winner is from Ambon, Maluku, while the female winner is from Malang, East Java. Alief himself has struggled to give all his best as a representative of Riau Province.

Mr. Ricardo, the one who guided, coached, accompanied Alief during the event said, “from this competition, Alief has gained a valuable experience and good lesson in national singing contest. This is surely going to be useful for him in the future.” (APW)
