Basic Leadership Training Programme in The New Board of Students’ Council (OSIS) Darma Yudha Senior High School

Students’ Council Darma Yudha Senior High School has just organized Basic Leadership Training programme (LDK) for its new members in the new leadership period of 2017/2018. The LDK was held from 20th to 22nd October 2017 located in the main hall of Darma Yudha School, all at once the outbound programme at Taman Buah Rakyat, Rumbai.

The theme of LDK entitled “Agents of Change: Breakthrough to Excellence” aimed at enhancing the quality of new members and bringing the change for the organisation (Student Council and Class Representatives). This programme was followed by 80 participants (56 students from the members of Student Council and 24 students from Class Representatives).

The series of events include:

  1. Seminar on social awareness by Mr. Berti.
  2. Leadership seminar by Mr. Agus Purnomo.
  3. Organizational and entrepreneurship by Mr. Agus Purnomo.
  4. Public speaking by Mr. Dwitya Nucifera.
  5. Organizational communication by Mr. Bayu Hanif Pratama.
  6. Discipline and cooperation by Mr. Robertus Dhanang.
  7. March by two soldiers from the Air Force unit.

Given that, there are some targets the need to be achieved in this programme, in which preparing students’ mental in facing the new challenges in the new board of students’ council (OSIS) and class representatives (MPK) 2017-2018. In addition, this programme also supported students with some materials related to the need and interest of the organization. Also, it strengthened the intimacy and familial bounding between students’ council (OSIS) and class representatives (MPK) 2017-2018. FYI, the head committee of basic leadership training programme was led by Ivan Estrada Hamzar.



Mr Agus Purnomo commented, “The event went smoothly and the participants showed their high enthusiasm. Our target of the event was well achieved. Hopefully, LDK 2017 brings a new light to the new leadership period of OSIS and MPK which reflects to a better organisational management and cooperation in each members, for sure, with one mission in achieving the productivity of Students’ Council in Darma Yudha Senior High School. ” (APW)
