It is held in Strisuksa School, Roi-Et, Thailand 21 – 25 August 2017 themed the Life Style of Asian Countries which is attended by alliance countries such as: Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Philippine.
Darma Yudha School sent 10 students to be the representative: Vincent Ongko Wijaya, Fedrico Anderson, Jenny Sari Winata, Audrey Valencia Putera, Andrew Wibisono Adisoemerta, Corrie Windreis, Fransiskus Geofany Widianto, Yoon Jiin, Maurell Sarah Hasibuan dan Fiorenza Peony accompanied by Mr. Antoni.
Day 1 : 21 August 2017
After the long journey from Pekanbaru to Roi-Et, we are welcomed by having the flowers necklaces and beautiful warm welcoming dance. We enjoyed everything and also the wonderful delicious meals.
Day 2 : 22 August 2017
The conference was started in the morning by the spectacular performances from the host. After the formal ceremony all participants showed their countries life style in the exhibition program. Darma Yudha School cooperated with Nanyang Jakarta preparing the Indonesia booth. All the participants, other Strisuksa students and the teachers came and visited our booth enthusiastic. They enjoyed the chips and crackers that we offered to them to try. Then after lunch all teams did a report presentation about the Food Wastage Project. This project is the cross-countries voted projects in the 3rd SEA2 Conference in Pekanbaru 2016. All participants set in the cross country group to determine future projects to be presented. While, the teachers and administrator they have their own meeting in the different place to discuss about the evaluation and development of the SEA2. In the evening, all participants did the bed time story activity. Each country performed a story or legend from their country. Darma Yudha’s team told the Legend of Malin Kundang. In the same occasion, our team also performed a vocal group with songs Apa-Apanya Dong.
Day 3 : 23 August 2017
In this day, all participants presented the suggested future project that they have discussed in the cross-country team work and they voted the Lack of Control of the Technology as the theme project for next year. The report will be presented in the 5th SEA2 Conference 2018 in Brunei. In the afternoon, the students did a little excursion; they visited forest conservation and great Buddhist Temple in Roi-Et. In the evening, the host held the cultural night. All participants performed their best performances. Our team presented one of the famous Melayu Dances, Serampang 12.
Day 4 : 24 August 2017
In this day we celebrated the Thai’s Day. All participants experience some Thai Culture. They learned the Simple Thai Dance and handicraft. Then they visited Planetarium to learn about the universe. After all the activities were over, the closing ceremony was held in the evening. From tremendous Thai dances to the Muai Thai martial art decorated the ceremony. It was ended by handing the SEA2 flag from Thailand to Brunei as the 5th SEA2 Conference host in 2018.
Day 5 : 25 August 2017
In this day all the participants returned to their home countries. In the end, Darma Yudha team has a chance to have a short excursion in Bangkok before returning to our beloved home country.
