Darma Yudha School reaps a variety of achievements in Taekwondo. It is a regional championship, Riau Province held at GOR Tribuana on August 27, 2017. The school delegated students from 3 different school levels such as Elementary, Junior High and Senior High School.

The students were under the guidance and training of Mr Romi Ismail. Darma Yudha team  competed with many participants coming from different regions in Riau Province.

Finally, Darma Yudha School managed to reach a total of 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. From Elementary School, Alam Ahmad Sentosa and Catty Thania succeeded in winning silver medals.

From Junior High School, Ariq Hanandito Rares was the gold medal winner and Thalita Livia won the silver medal. Whilst from Senior High School, Dessya Rianda succeeded in winning a gold medal, William Anthonio for the silver medal and Michellyn Wang in bronze medal winning.

From these results, Mr Romi Ismail also gave his appreciation by commenting, “This great result is well achieved through the students’ sincerity in doing the training and following the competition. Congratulations on the achievements.” (APW)
