Tri Darma Limurti, the 11th grader from science D class, Darma Yudha senior high school was selected as one of Indonesia delegates to Japan-ASEAN Rugby Youth Exchange Inbound Programme – JENESYS 2017, Japan.
This event started from October 8th to 16th, 2017. It was attended by 165 participants from all ASEAN countries. What’s more, each country in Southeast Asia region sent 15 participants to the programme.
In Japan, the programmes were precisely located in Shizuoka and Tokyo with several big agendas such as intensive rugby workshops and training at ECOPA stadium.
The purpose of this programme is ideally to enhance the friendship between the countries in Southeast Asia and Japan. As the matter of fact that the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) has apparently facilitated the participants from Indonesia to experience this once a lifetime programme.
In Jakarta, Tri Darma has got an opportunity to discuss related programme with Mr. Imam Nahrawi as the Minister of Youth and Sports Republic of Indonesia. They also shared their good quality time in great photos. Given that, Tri Darma is a good role model for other students, reflected from his hard work and sense of sportivity in Rugby.
Bravo for Tri Darma Limurti!!! you’ve brought the proudest name of Darma Yudha and Indonesia to the international event in Japan. Salute!!! (APW)
